At the Church of Kiryat Yearim in Abu Ghosh, a special concert will bring together two choirs from the Jerusalem Hills — the “Tzlilei HaHar” ensemble from Har Adar and the Mevasseret Choir from Mevasseret Zion — for a musical evening of community, remembrance, and unity.
The program spans works from the European Renaissance, through Baroque song, to soul-stirring memorial pieces by Brahms and Lewandowski.
Joining the ensembles will be soprano Yael Avital, accompanied by the Barrocade Soloists Ensemble (Baroque violin, harpsichord, and viola da gamba), for intimate performances that blend voice, early instruments, and communal spirit.
An evening of music seeking meaning, belonging, and comfort.
