An Insight into Bach's Magical Flute Concert

We're thrilled to announce that the Abu Gosh Music Festival is set to host international flutist Ashley Solomon from London, and the stunning Israeli opera singer Daniela Skorka! Together with the Barrocade Ensemble, they will perform some of the most beautiful and acclaimed flute compositions, cantatas, and soprano arias from the classical repertoire of all time.

You'll get to hear a selection of dances, including the famous "Badinerie" from Bach's flute suite. Barrocade soloists, Shlomit Sivan on the violin and Yizhar Karshon on cembalo, will join Ashley Solomon for the performance of the fifth Brandenburg Concerto.
Prepare to be enchanted by Daniela Skorka's voice as she performs J.S. Bach's cantata "He Never Knew Sorrow", and two of the most beautiful arias composed by G.F. Handel: "Sweet Bird" for soprano and flute, and "What Passion" for soprano and viola da gamba.

Concert Duration: Approximately 75 minutes, without intermission.
