Ensemble Sonora is composed entirely of professional singers, graduates of academies in Israel and abroad, for whom choral singing is a passion.

The ensemble first came together in the summer of 2023 for a remarkable a cappella program called "From Dream to Reality," which explored the delicate line between the two. Following the events of October 7th and their subsequent reunion, the ensemble members created a special a cappella program adapted to the spirit of the times.

"Only to play Love" - the name of the new program, is composed mainly of arrangements of various works, mostly in Hebrew, arranged by the ensemble members themselves.

The ensemble places a strong emphasis on creating a cohesive and distinct musical character in the Israeli choral landscape by the fact that most of the music performed in the ensemble was written for and by the singers themselves.

The program is an a cappella program, very accessible and intended for the general public.
