a captivating musical journey through the rich tapestry of Hebrew poetry and song.
The choir, true to its name "Dorot" (Generations), is committed to preserving the legacy of the past while also embracing and nurturing the voices of the present.
As Artistic Director Yon explains, "This theme resonated with us on several levels. Firstly, it represents an open-ended concept, looking towards the future with a sense of birth, renewal, and hope. Then the war broke out, and everything went awry. We felt overwhelmed. On the one hand, we wanted to sing, but of course, the difficult days choked the voice in our throats. Yet, we continued to meet every week. To strengthen and grow. In the process, we also performed in Hostages Square with a prayer for their return, out of solidarity and support."
The concert is dedicated to all those who are no longer with us, in the hope of better days to come.
